Samsung merupakan sebuah smartphone yang bekerjasama dengan Android mengeluarkan produk terbaru mereka dengan nama Samsung I9001 Galaxy S Plus. Processor menggunakan 1.4 GHz prosesor single-core Snapdragon dan berjalan pada Operating System terbaru 2.3 Gingerband dari Google, Galaxy S dikeluarkan untuk mengisi kesenjangan antara Galaxy S II dan Ace Galaxy pada tahun 2011. Dimana Samsung ingin menjadi produsen papan atas di dunia ponsel. Untuk mencapai itu Samsung harus memiliki perangkat yang bisa digunakan semua orang, dengan hal itu Samsung I9001 Galaxy S Plus datang ke dalam dunia telekomunikasi.
Berbeda dengan S Galaxy sebelumnya, Galaxy I9001 S Plus hadir casing yang terbuat dari backplate logam dilengkapi sebuah kamera 5 megapiksel mampu merekam video HD dan baterai 1650 mAh.
Harga eceran Samsung Galaxy S Plus diperkirakan sekitar $ 840.
